This course is designed around the content delivered by Dr. David Hughes and will cover the industry developments and practical business examples using sustainability as the key differentiating attribute in their food & agribusiness value proposition.

We will gain insights into the measures being adopted by the agrifood industry to create products with innovative value propositions that effectively address the sustainability concerns of consumers. Additionally, we will explore the technologies with the potential to build sustainable value chains, all of which will be illustrated through industry examples.

The course learning and assessment will help you develop a good understanding of the value propositions with sustainable attributes and also guides you applying the learnings within the specific context of your work/business.

The business examples and the business models designed within this pathway demonstrate that differentiated value propositions together with strong distribution and complementary partnerships deliver significantly on the Food safety, security and sustainability outcomes. If you choose to enroll in the pathway, you'll have the option to receive an extra certificate upon completing the reflection exercise for the pathway.
