• Course Pitch
This course looks at cases of internal and external (and combinations of) value chain finance products within the agribusiness context. How different value chain finance products work based on the characteristic of the value chain. Specifically, the following elements would be covered:
1) Different types of Agribusiness value chain financial instruments and their design
2) Major categories of value chain finance instruments
3) Different models of value chain financing
4) Advantages and disadvantages of different forms of financing

You will be taken through different value chain finance models in 2 parts of video presentation by Agribusiness Finance expert Ms. Lorna Grace (Part-1 is approximately for 25 minutes while the Part-2 is for 30 minutes). The presentations will be followed by a 25-minute video (approximately) discussion between Ms. Lorna Grace and Dr. Vijayender Nalla that capture the insights and helps you apply the value chain finance product knowledge.

The course learning and assessment will help you learn and apply the insights to the value chain finance product design to the specific context of your work/business.
