This course can be pursued independently or as part of “Sustainable Finance” learning & reflection pathway. The pathway is designed to help you understand the financial risks associated with agriculture production and the need for innovative financial products and business models that align with the needs and risks of agriculture. In this pathway considerable amount of attention is given to SmallHolder Finance and the role of “Value Chain Finance” as a very powerful model in ensuring that the value chains realise optimal growth. The business examples and the business models designed within this pathway demonstrate that strong value propositions and business models in Agriculture Finance contribute significantly to a safe and sustainable food system. If you choose to enroll in the pathway, you'll have the option to receive an extra certificate upon completing the reflection exercise for the pathway. Enrolling to the pathway also gives you access to our facilitators via the AA Slack channel.
