Sustainable Sourcing

How to get Traceability in your Food Business? (SSD)

Description
• Course Pitch
Traditional food safety programs rely on end point inspection and quality checks rather than placing emphasis on quality assurance and prevention of hazards of physical, chemical and microbiological nature. Hence, there is likelihood of getting a product released in market, which is potentially unsafe. At times the product once released need to be recalled due to some reasons which can be minimized if the company's traceability system is well planned, implemented and understood by those who are involved in core activities of sourcing manufacturing & distribution functions.
This course equips the learners with the concepts and understanding of:
→ Traceability which is an integral part of the food safety management system.
→ Firsthand Knowledge and Process of developing the system
→ The process of testing the system for its effectiveness
→ The need for markets pertaining to Traceability.
→ How to fulfill the requirements of Regulatory Bodies

The course learning and assessment will help you understand the approach to building a fool-proof traceability system and action it within your work/business.
