Food and Agriculture Business Models - Pathway

Food and Agribusiness Trends and Developments (DN105)

Description
• Course Pitch
Whether you're a professional or an entrepreneur, as a value creator, it is important to understand key trends in the industry and apply them to the context of your project/business.

This course will offer practical insights with industry-relevant examples covering the present and future dynamics of the food and agribusiness industry. These trends are mostly driven by consumer behavioral changes. Recent technological advancements are either driving or supporting these trends.

In the past, largely big food businesses decided what we should eat. This is largely driven by extensive marketing efforts by food companies. But their sales are declining consistently suggesting that their strategy no longer seems to be working. So why is it not working or what is working? You will figure it out by the end of this course.

Under this theme of Food and Agribusiness Trends and Developments, we have integrated various excerpts from lectures delivered by Dr. David Hughes who is fondly known as Dr. Food. His insights will help you to apply them to the specific context of your business.
